What is match funding?

Match Funding is a requirement of certain applications in which the applicant is requested to provide 50% of the funding, the Farnsfield Trust then fund the other 50%. However, this isn’t always the case.

can i apply on behalf of someone else?

Yes. The Farnsfield Trust welcomes applications from any source. However it is essential that you have full permission from the person you are applying on behalf of. (We may be required to see this permission in writing).

can organisations apply?

Yes, we welcome applications from both organisations and individuals.

is this only for people living in farnsfield?

The primary aim of the Farnsfield Trust is to provide help to the residents of Farnsfield, however applications from the surrounding villages maybe considered in exceptional circumstances.

who decides funding applications?

The administrator of The Farnsfield Trust will prepare applications for review by the trustees who are members of the community in Farnsfield and who have been selected by application to be part of the charity.

HOW MUCH CAN I APPLY FOR?

There is no fixed amount or limit, however it may be unusual for large amounts to be granted to individuals.
